The Freeport Half Marathon is returning after a 1 year hiatus under new management --- bringing back a fun and moderately challenging course in Freeport and Brunswick starting and finishing in downtown Freeport. The accompanying 5K will give family and friends of the half marathoners a chance to run their own race.

All runners will be treated to a first class experience featuring ChronoTrack B-Tag Chip Timing by Yankee Timing; technical shirts for all Half marathoners; t-shirts for all 5K runners; finisher medals for half marathoners; pint glasses to overall and age group winners; 6 water stops; post race refreshments including fresh fruit and pastries; a top notch make-your-own goodie bag; and much more. 20% of all entry fees will go directly to support the Freeport Education Foundation and and Freeport Community Services plus additional donations will also be made to the cross country and track teams from Freeport High School for their support in manning all 6 water stops and handling course marshal duties.
